Payment Instructions
Since the introduction of roadside parking payment service by the telecommunications industry and finance corporation on February 1, 2006, people can choice their favor payment method.
Since February 1, 2006, Tainan City Parking Management authorized the telecommunication industries and financial industries to collect the parking payment, Chunghwa Telecom, Bank of Taiwan, Bank of Panhsin, Union Bank of Taiwan, Chang Hwa Bank, First Bank, Cosmos Bank, Taiwan, Bank of Overseas Chinese, Cathay United Bank, all provide such service, please contact the above mentioned agencies for further information.
The advantages of apply for Roadside Parking Authorized Payment Service are as follow:
- People do not have to bring the Payment Notice Statement to relative agency for payment, can save a lot of time.
- Parking Authorized Payment can be made with Telecommunication Monthly Statement or Credit Card Monthly Statement, which can extend the payment period.
- Enjoy the preference provide by the authorized agency (please contact the above mentioned agencies for detail information)
- To avoid repeat payment, people can only choice one parking authorized agency for one car. Please confirm with your authorized agency for service starting date, and please do not bring Payment Notice Statement to Convenience Store for payment to avoid the repeat payment
Parking bill overdue
On-line checking
- Parking bill overdue information will be renewed once everyday to allow car owner to check on-line.
- Any query about parking bill overdue and relative information will be solved base on the information provided by The Department of Public Parking Management.
- Tainan City residents can print out the on-line overdue information and bring it to Tainan City parking managers for payment. For non-residents, please bring the Overdue Notice Statement to convenience stores for payment.
- All convenience stores will pass the collected authorized payment information at 11pm everyday, all payment made after 11pm will be considered as next day payment, please made your payment before 11pm to avoid overdue, please notice that convenience stores will not collect any late payment.
- Please enter " - " when using vehicle identification number to search on-line to avoid any error.
Time-difference
- There are about seven hundred thousand parking information record by PDA ticket system and manual ticket system every month in The Department of Public Parking Management. PDA ticket system will automatically transfer the information to computer database in the department; however, manual ticket information must be entered to the computer by the staff. When searching parking bill information on-line, please notice that due to the shortage of resource, manual ticket information can not be entered to the computer immediately and resulted in time-difference.
- PDA ticket system and Manual ticket system can be searched online separately. PDA parking ticket information can be found on-line in one day after you have received your parking ticket. Manual parking ticket information can be found online in about 5 days after you have received your parking ticket. Please use the authorized payment system in convenience stores for payment, or made your to parking manager or The Department of Public Parking Management if you have your parking ticket in hand, to avoid any late payment penalty.
- The Department of Public Parking Management will be more efficient in building database and fully digitalized in the future. Our future goal is to use PDA ticket system, allow the information to transfer to the database automatically and all parking ticket information can be searched on-line in three days
